This is a book about Elaine, a young girl, decides she wants to be an artist just like the famous artists of the past. She shares her passion for art with her mother as they draw and paint together. While she continues to learn more about art, “Lainey” teaches the reader how to draw all the figures and shapes within the book. This unique, interactive sketch book allows the reader to draw Lainey’s images and tear out the sheets and display them on the refrigerator!

I Want To Be An Artist! will encourage children to read and draw, and to use their imagination.
